From Struggles to Strength: A Journey in Health and Purpose
Growing up in a chaotic home where self-care wasn’t a priority, I witnessed the consequences of neglecting health. My mother’s challenges after a traumatic accident and my father’s declining health deeply shaped my perspective. Watching their struggles inspired me to prioritize physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
As a competitive dancer, I encountered unhealthy body standards that affected my self-esteem and relationship with food. It wasn’t until I discovered fitness beyond dance that I learned to honor my body for its strength rather than its appearance. Fitness became my path to confidence and self-love.
Later, my daughter’s severe gluten intolerance further reshaped my understanding of health. It taught me the importance of personalized nutrition and listening to our bodies. These experiences solidified my belief that wellness is unique to each person and requires patience, education, and compassion.
Now approaching 50, I’m grateful for the years invested in building a strong, resilient foundation. My goal is to live with energy, purpose, and confidence—not just for myself but for my family and clients. I’m passionate about helping others discover their own strength using movement, nutrition, recovery and connection to accomplish any goal.
